This event will be part of a celebration of the one year anniversary of The Sacred Center at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in Portsmouth, RI. The Sacred Center offers yoga for all ages and abilities, retreats, dance, spiritual discovery groups, support groups, workshops and much more in a beautiful space welcoming all. The first time I walked into their beautiful light-filled sanctuary last year for a yoga class I knew immediately that I wanted to offer a sound journey there and have been looking forward to this opportunity.

On October 12 The Sacred Center is hosting a free Journey Dance at 6 pm with Jennifer Pedrick followed by a Healing Sound Journey at 7:15. You may come to either or both events. The fee for the sound journey is $15. Yoga mats and blankets will be provided by the Sacred Center but you are welcome to bring an extra blanket and pillow for added comfort.

The Healing Sound Journey is a deeply restorative and balancing experience facilitated by me, Rosie Warburton, with the aid of many powerful vibrational healing tools- gongs, flutes, crystal and Himalayan singing bowls, various chimes and percussion instruments and more. No two sound journeys are alike. They are spontaneous and arise from the energy and consciousness of the facilitator, the group, the space, the outer and inner environments, and the instruments themselves.
