Back in 1996 I took a course in Biosonic Repatterning with the amazing healer, teacher and musician Philip (Avi Khadir) Aberman. He was good friends with, and worked closely with John Beaulieu, who brought these tools to the forefront of the sound healing community. Since then I have also taken many courses with John Beaulieu, a wonderful teacher and master healer.

As a lover of sound and frequency I tuned right in to the subtle power of these simple instruments of healing and didn’t have to think about whether to add them to my cache of sound healing tools.

It wasn’t for another ten years though that I began to truly see how very powerful they were. My mother was in her mid-eighties, still very active and “with it”- gardening, cooking and walking every day but due to arthritis could no longer do her beloved needlepoint and crewel embroidery, once her pastime in the evenings and on cold snowy days. I began using the 128 hz “Otto” (osteopathic) tuners on her hands whenever I visited her, to give her relief from the arthritis and also on her neck, which was causing her constant discomfort. They were very helpful for her. Her fingers would uncurl from their tight claw-like position and the range of motion in her neck would increase dramatically with each session. I usually augmented the treatments with some gentle massage on the trouble areas.

One time I came up from Fl to visit her at her New England home and she was having a terrible bout of sciatica. She was in a great deal of pain and had succumbed to using the “chair lift” which she’d had installed for a friend who used to visit and had difficulty going up and down the stairs. Now Mom was using it herself. it did not make her happy!

For 3 days I gave her massage and craniosacral treatments every day which provided some relief… but not enough. On the 4th day I suggested we try a Biosonic Repatterning treatment with tuning forks, using the Solar Harmonic Spectrum (a set of 7 tuning forks which are used off body) as well as the Otto 128 (for general inflammation) and 64 (specifically used on the lumbar spine). She was always a willing recipient of alternative therapies and I helped her onto the table.

I gave her a full treatment with tuning forks. Honestly, I thought the off body therapy- just listening, hearing the sounds of tuning fork intervals- would be boring for her (even though I loved them- I’m a little weird about sound!) and I was not anticipating any great positive results. I figured at best that they would be relaxing, and a lot of things let go when we can relax and move past all that we are holding onto, on whatever level that may be.

I could see that she dropped in deeply during the session but still didn’t have a lot of expectations. As soon as the session was over she turned her head toward me and said, “That was simply blissful. Can we do it again tomorrow?” I was stunned and said, “Of course!” She then proceeded to sit up without my assistance- which had been impossible up to now. I tried to stop her and she said, “No dear, I can do it.” She sat herself up and said that she felt so good and was going upstairs to lie down and take a nap.

About two hours later I walked by the staircase- not the one with chairlift. There was Mom at the top of the stairs about to walk down. I was shocked. I said, “Wait! What? Seriously?” She said yes- that the pain was almost entirely relieved and she could walk down the stairs without using the lift. Her back and leg pain from the sciatica never returned to the acute point that I had been treating her for and every time I visited after that she had several friends that she would call and have me treat with tuning forks for various issues. They all experienced great relief.

I always knew the tuning forks worked for me- but it was not my primary therapy up to that point for treating others. Since then I have used them for treating people with osteo and rheumatoid arthritis, sinus issues, tinnitus, migraines, edema from cancer treaments and a host of other issues and injuries and have consistently found them to be incredibly effective.

Tuning Fork Treatments (Tuning Forks or Magic Wands?)
Since I reached 60 years of age I have had some arthritis, sciatica and tendonitis causing pain in my lower back and in my neck- hardly able to turn my head to the left or right. It was not agony, but it was constant chronic pain, debilitating both physically and mentally. Tendonitis was when I was 40 and had to give up tennis which I loved. I am now 90 years of age.

I have had several tuning fork treatments with Rosemary Warburton. I cannot believe the difference. My neck is fine and has been pain-free since my first treatment.  Ditto my back.

I call her tuning forks magic wands.

Maybe they are.
